The High School Climate Challenge is a program of Clean Air Champions.
Clean Air Champions(CAC) is a national charitable organization whose mission is to work with respected athletes to improve air quality by motivating and educating Canadians to adopt practices and lifestyles that enhance both environmental and personal health.
The Champions include over 160 National Team, Olympic and Paralympic athletes, each passionate about physical activity and the health of our environment. Many of these athletes suffer from lung related illnesses and all are concerned about the high rates of inactivity and obesity in Canadians. As role models and educators these Champions help deliver the Clean Air Champions programs to schools, communities, government offices and businesses and inspire Canadians of all ages to reduce air pollution and adopt more active, healthier lifestyles. CAC is managed by staff and a Board of Directors with a head office in Ottawa, and affiliates in provinces across Canada.
