Program Overview

Welcome to the High School Climate Challenge (HSCC), a program of Clean Air Champions.  This web site is designed to support high school students involved in the Climate Challenge.

This new and innovative program was created to provide high school communities the tools to assess and reduce their school's carbon footprint and contribute to climate change solutions.

If you are a Teacher, click here, a Student, click here,  or a Mentor, click here to access role specific information.

Climate Challenge Schools

Six HSCC schools are participating in this year's BC Green Games!

Fraser Heights, Shawnigan Lake School, Johnston Heights, Brentwood College,  Windermere and New Westminster each submitted entries to celebrate their projects and to join in the chance of winning cash prizes to put toward future action plans. Projects ranged from beekeeping and tree planting to storybook creations and theatrical performances. With the help of these projects, they are working towards reducing their schools' carbon footprints while inspiring others and creating lasting change! Check out all the hard work these teams have been doing and vote for your favourite entries at: http://www.bcgreengames.ca/
