BC Beach Party -HSCC Meet and Greet

CALLING ALL BC STUDENTS, TEACHERS, MENTORS, CHAMPIONS

Have you been involved in the High School Climate Challenge (HSCC)?

Are you interested in becoming involved with HSCC next year to measure your school's greenhouse gas emissions and/or continue taking action?

If so, you are invited to our beach party on June 27th! HSCC will be hosting a Meet and Greet on June 27th for lower mainland students, Mentors, Champions, and teachers to celebrate everyone's individual and combined successes.

Who?

Champions and Mentors

Teachers and other climate action team members


When? June 27 from noon to 4pm

Where? Jericho Beach picnic area - accessible via bike, transit, and car (Click here for Map)


Why?
- Meet students and teachers from other schools who are doing the HSCC or are interested in doing the HSCC
- Present and discuss your experiences with HSCC and what initiatives you started or are starting at your school
- Celebrate together and eat yummy food
- Explore ideas for working together on joint Green Projects
- Explore ideas to keep your CAT going next year
- Meet leaders in your community who are here to support you
- We will also be filming the event and will do some interviews for a film we are making for our website - to showcase our awesome schools!

How? To register for the event, students please follow these two steps:
1.Print the attached letter and media release form (designed to be printed double-sided). This has more information about the event on one side, and on the back side is a media release form that parents must sign (if they have not already done so).
